I lived south of Seoul in Suwon/Yeongtong/Dongtan. My wife is doing pretty good here. She met a bunch of Koreans through school/church, but she also has a group of non-Korean friends that she met through her job/school. I think that it is very important for you guys to make Korean friends in the states, but if you only make Korean friends, your English will really not improve. Sorry that you are lonely. Check to see if there is a Korean community in Jackson. I am really not sure if there is not, but I am pretty sure that there would be. Are you a student?
