Media Catch-Up

0

Besides traveling to Florida and Kentucky, JJ and I have both being catching up on all the media that we weren’t able to follow during the semester.

Dexter

JJ caught up on Dexter by watching season 5.  I had seen the first couple of seasons of the show and became disinterested, so I didn’t join her in watching it.  She thought that season 5 was excellent and can’t wait for season 6.

Trueblood

We watched the third season of Trueblood together.  I have read the all but the last two books in the Sookie Stackhouse novels that Trueblood is based on and was really looking forward to the third season.  I wasn’t disappointed.  The third season was much better than the second and about as well done as the first season.  There were a few aspects of the novels that were left out, but this seems to be the standard after watching the first two seasons.  I thought that the werewolves were well done and  Eric’s revenge subplot was great.

Birthdays, Barbeques, and Books

We had a small celebration for JJ’s birthday on Friday night. My mother outdid herself with king crab legs and a cake from C’Est La Vie

We traveled to Madison to visit with friends for Memorial Day. It was a great chance to catch up and meet some new people as well.

The last few weeks I have knocked out a few books that I have been meaning to read. I am trying to spend more and more time reading and less time surfing/reading blogs/twittering/wasting time.

Adding a plug-in for the Facebook like button(See Below). I am also working on a couple more pages for this blog mainly Korean language links and books!~
