Last Friday JJ and I went to Cellular South to finally upgrade our phones.  I have been holding out for the Samsung Galaxy S for a months now, and they finally offered it.  Cellular South has great rates, but they tend to be slightly slow in offering new phones.  After just a few days with the new phone, I can’t imagine  not having it.  It has cut my computer use in half.  I didn’t realize how much time I spent checking to see if I gotten any new emails or wasting time on Facebook or Twitter.

A few aspects that I am loving about the new phone:

Bar Code App- Scan items to check the prices on the internet before you buy them.

Swype- What a great way to text, especially if you have fat chubby fingers like mine

Intregrated Contacts-All my contacts from email accounts, facebook, twitter, and phone contacts are in one place

Gmail notifications- I probably will never miss an email again

Voice Texting-Actually does a pretty good job of recognizing speech.

GoStop- Downloaded this Korean card game app. (This was a mistake when you are trying to get work done)

Angry Birds- Another time waster, but fun!
