Christmas

0

Taking a short break from the travel photos for a few Christmas photos.  We had a great Christmas.  We spent time with my family, got some great gifts, got to see my nephews open their gifts and had some great food!  My mother bought everyone matching pajama pants; this is turning into her tradition.  I don’t know how I ate as much as I did.  My mother outdid herself this year.

JJ and I are getting ready to go to Kentucky to visit with my grandparents for a few days.  We are not actually sure when we are leaving.  We are waiting for a package from Korea to arrive and as soon as it gets here we are going to hit the road.

School starts on the 18th of January, but I will probably need to be back for a staff meeting on the 13th.  We haven’t really started thinking about next semester, but we have ordered our textbooks and making scheduling plans.

I hope that you and your family had a great Christmas.  I know that JJ and I really enjoyed ours.

I’m back in the grind today.  JJ and I both have tons of things that we have got to get done this week.
JJ has wanted me to post this photo of So-Hee for a couple of days now. She kept her tongue stuck only long enough for me to grab a few quick shots.

If you are reading this in a RSS reader I apologize for the glitches over the last couple days. I am trying to fix some old posts and few of them are showing as new posts on this blog.

Father Godfrey, My Father, and Me

Three birthdays in a row.  Father Godfrey’s is on the 12th, my father’s the 13th, and mine on the 14th.  It was a nice quiet evening.

JJ and I are still recovering from our trip and I still have some more photos to process and posts to write!

Around the House

JJ and I just got back from a great dinner with our friend Billie from Korea. Billie was hired to teach at my school and he didn’t work with us long till we realized that he knew my grandparents. We saw him for the first time since he left Korea. We went out to a local sports bar and really enjoyed retelling stories from Korea.

JJ and I left from our dinner with Billie and drove to Paris, Tennessee. We had to drive to Paris because we are currently living in a dry county, so that means no alcohol sales at all. I was thrilled to find Fat Tire which I love! I fell in love with this beer when I was working at Yellowstone 9 years ago and have had the hardest time finding it. They are not allowed to sell it in Mississippi because of the alcohol level. Doh~!

Today’s photos are just a few random images from around the house here in New Concord, Kentucky.
