Kentucky Day 1
We arrived in KY last night and were greeted with the smell of my grandmother’s pepper-steak. What a wonderful way to start our visit. We got unpacked and moved into our room. Grammy and Poppa had fixed everything up for us. I ended up hooking up the wireless internet last night as well.
My grandfather has built a bird feeder that sits right in front of the picture window in their den. The next couple of photos were taken from inside the den. We spent time today watching football and birds! We came here to relax and it seems like we are getting our money’s worth.

Black Cap Chickadee

Red-Bellied Woodpecker
JJ and I went out for her first driving lesson. She did very well and didn’t hit anything
I really need to take her to a straighter/flatter road to practice on.
We also went down to the lake shore and walked around today. This is about 5 min from the house. That was when we noticed the bald eagle flying around. Hopefully, I can get a closer picture later!~

Wow! Beautiful bird shots!
